Surface of road badly damaged

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 11:29, Thursday 26 February 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9003525.

Coming from West Winch A10, as you enter the Hardwick Roundabout, when driving on the A149 lane (outside lane from west winch) as ypu joon the roundabout the road is so badly damaged, there are deep grooves as you come off the A10 across the roundabout. Damage to vehicles and so dangerous for cyclists/motorbikes as those grooves run diagonally when you approach from that way, no way to avoid them. Cars have been seen sharply pulling over into the other lane to try to avoid them, this is dangerous, you cannot avoid the grooves. I travel it 2x every day and have seen many near misses. Please please do something before someone is seriously hurt. This has been like it for weeks, I have only started using this road since the beginning of the month, I thought it would have been resurfaced by now so am only now reporting my concerns.
