Very deep pothole at Brassknocker Hill junction

Reported via mobile in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 08:16, Wednesday 25 February 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8993743.

Deep pothole at point of previous failure. The problem is that the pothole is right at the point where drivers turn wheels to go down the hill, so they are swerving to avoid it and almost going inot the other lane of traffic. Very deep, the chunks of tarmac coming out of the hole are 5+cm deep alone.
