Flags on lamposts illegally on bridge over A120

Flags continue to be placed illegally on lamposts over A120,distraction to drivers also potential risk if someone tries to remove them, is it highways policy to ignore their own rules?

    We have passed this to one of our local inspectors to confirm that this is on our property. Safety is our priority and we do all we can to protect those who use our roads. Items such as flags attached to a bridge could pose a danger to motorists on the road below and so may need to be removed for safety reasons.
