A series of potholes in the centre of the road between the two lanes of the dual carriageway. Hit one this morning on the way to work as I was overtaking a vehicle, and almost lost control of my motorcycle. It is deep and dangerous and you cant see it.

    Our inspector attended this location to assess the defect on 26 February 2026 and remedial work has been raised with our maintenance partners to repair the potholes within 24 hours.

    We will continue to monitor the area during our regular inspections. Should any safety defects arise, then we’ll arrange the necessary remedial work to take place.
