All the drains are blocked between Mttram Crossroads and the junction with Back Moor

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 11:05, Monday 16 February 2026

Sent to National Highways 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 8929368.

In the last few weeks there has been periods of extremely heavy rain and the water goes down the steep hill rather than into the drains. Consequently it has often been across the eastbound carriageway to the central white line causing excessive spray, impeding visibility and affecting vehicles capability to stop when the lights change to red.
