Lots of litter on all sides of road all around both road and slip roads

Litter all over the sides of road verges Many people have thrown litter out of car windows not meeting the Environmental Protection Act 1990 maybe Fixed Penalty Notices with a camera can be issued in local arias to prevent as this a increasing problem around the aria and seems to only be getting worse this does not make entering the aria appeal to anyone passing community and council need to do more to prevent and remove safely if possible I personally litter pic and do not think there is much care for where we all live locally would be interested to see when this aria was last cleared and if this is possible to do soon safely on main sides of roads.

Littering by people is, unfortunately, a behaviour that has a big impact on some parts of our roads. We aim to keep our roads as tidy and free of litter as we can. Our litter picking is carefully planned to try to minimise the impact it has on road users and the safety of our people.
Litter picks often require lane closures, which are disruptive to traffic flow. To help reduce the frequency of this disruption, where we can, we usually combine our reactive litter picks with other maintenance work which can result in what appears to be a delayed response.
