Not working as designed

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 23:34, Saturday 14 February 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8920981.

Since resurfacing the lights are not working properly. Causing significant congestion on Blackburn Road. Road sensors missing or defective.

Lights are not detecting gaps in traffic flow From the a56 northbound- thus staying green for longer. This is keeping other lights on the roundabout on red for longer (unnecessarily) causing delays.

Control cabinet is wrapped in a orange blanket and is not secure either.
