Lots of litter noticeably from Manadom to Tamar Bridge

Reported via mobile in the Main Carriageway (NH) category anonymously at 18:31, Saturday 14 February 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8920011.

Just looks extremely messy, either a lot of litter in last few months or an accumulation from lack of investment over the years…either way just is an absolute eyesore

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways.

National Highways, as the government owned company is responsible for the Strategic Road Network in England. Under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, we’re responsible for collecting litter/flytipping on England’s motorways and a small number of trunk roads. Local authorities are responsible for collecting litter/flytipping on most all-purpose trunk roads.

Litter/flytipping removal on the A38 is the responsibility of the local authority's along the route.

    Kind regards
