Numerous deep and large pot holes on A66 from eaglescliffe turn off to long newton flyover

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8912847.

Large deep potholes appeared over night quite a few, could be dangerpus if people do not stick to the 40mph limit

    We've checked and can confirm these defects have been temporarily filled to make safe. We also have resurfacing works planned in this area which are due to be completed in March.

    In the meantime, we’ll continue to monitor this location and if further surface defects appear, we’ll carry out repairs.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
