Multiple street lights not working on both sides of the A5

Reported via mobile in the Not working (NH) category anonymously at 19:39, Wednesday 11 February 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8897362.

A number of street lights are not working on both sides of the A5. This is in an area where a large number of children cross the road to catch the school bus to Polesworth secondarily school very early in the morning. It is essential that these street lights are in working order for urgent safety reasons. In late 2024 early 2025 there were a number of accidents in this area due to faulty Street lighting.
