No traffic light at all

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 08:36, Wednesday 11 February 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8890582.

This is more than 1 time happening, its very dangerous junction anyway and only small sign no traffic lights attached in the pole. People driving from A5 do not give way and drive fast, making hard to drive off from Longshoot - please put temporary light if permanent ones out. Also the streetlight were off, with the weather today (heavy rain) making it even more dangerous.

Updates

  • For the last 3 Wednesday mornings this set of lights has not been working up till about 7.30am and then they come on almost as if some work was done a few weeks back but the lights havn't been reset as posted by other people this is a very busy junction and only a matter of time until an accident occours.
