A46 Nimlet towards Swainswick Bath

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8850422.

The road surface is breaking up, Potholed in an area of long sweeping left and right hand bends. It is increasingly difficult to navigate this section of road safely on a motorcycle particularly during the hours of darkness and wet weather. As this section of highway is subject to overnight road closures until early March it would seem logical to address this problem within the current scope of works. This has been an ongoing problem for weeks.

    If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
