Large/Deep Pothole

There is a large, deep pothole on the A428 at the junction with the A5 on the eastbound carriageway, in the left lane of the dual carriageway. It is located on the number 5 of the A5 road marking before the give way to the roundabout. It is 150cm long, 50cm wide and 16cm deep. The entire road surface is missing as you can see the sand underneath. Last night traffic cones were put out for roadworks, and they direct you to exactly where the pothole is. The front nearside tyre of my car hit this pothole on 4 February 2026 at 21.15. Photos of the pothole and location can be provided if necessary.
