Porthole all over damaged car's until j56 needs sorting asap as it's getting bad North bound and South bound

  • Thank you for making your report.

    We can advise that there are works planned to repair defects between J51-J52 next week on 17 and 18 February.

    Our inspectors are continuing to monitor defects elsewhere on the northbound carriageway and we will make temporary repairs to any to any defects deemed safety critical.
    On the southbound side, a resurfacing scheme is also due in March 2026 with a 50mph temporary limit in place in the meantime.
