Turn right sign missing

Reported via desktop in the Damage to Sign (NH) category anonymously at 10:57, Wednesday 4 February 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8835517.

Heading northbound there is a slip road/lane that turns onto Tollbar Road. At the end of that slip road/lane there is usually a blue and white circular sign with an arrow on. My concern is that without the sign people may overshoot the slip road/lane.

Updates

  • This report is confused. The Arrow on the Centre Turn Right Lane (to cross over to Tollbar Rd) would point to the lower left as an instruction to Keep Left and not end up going North on the SB carriageway.

  • Thank you for making your report. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue.

If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.

    Kind regards National Highways
