Large pothole decay of road

Potholes developing in centre of both lanes.

  • Thank you for making your report. We currently have lane 1 closures installed north and south bound to mitigate the safety risks due to the poor surface conditions. We have contractors instructed to attend tonight and Wednesday night to carry out emergency hotbox repairs both north and south. The area is due to be fully resurfaced at the beginning of March 2026.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
