Numerous potholes travelling south between 2 roundabouts

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about the potholes on the southbound carriageway between 2 roundabouts of the A1 near Letham Shank. We appreciate the time you’ve taken to contact us about this matter.

    Our maintenance team were made aware, and they carried out emergency patching works over the weekend. They’re also re-visiting the site to determine if further works are required in this area.

    Contractors carried out over 25 patches, so all defects identified should now be safe. We’re also in discussions with our team to have this area resurfaced.
