  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about the potholes near the A1/A698 junction. We appreciate the time you’ve taken to contact us about this matter.

    Our maintenance team were made aware, and they carried out emergency patching works over the weekend. They’re also re-visiting the site to determine if further works are required in this area.

    Contractors carried out over 25 patches Saturday night 31 January, so all defects identified should now be safe. We’re also in discussions with our team to have this area resurfaced.
