Flood cross the carriageway

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8799082.

Standing water pooling from junction with underpass and west bound exit from A30. No warning signs. Water deep. Causing issues due to poor visibility. This has been occurring since changes to road layout when heavy rain fall. It is dangerous as No warning signs indicating that this might happen again.

    Thank you for your notification on 30 January on Fix My Street regarding the A30 Chiverton to Carland Cross project and for raising your concerns and observations with us.

    We understand that flooding has occurred on Carland Cross roundabout as a result of the poor weather. Please be assured that our site team have carried out investigation works last week and a temporary solution has been installed to prevent future flooding. Please note that we are working on a permanent solution to this problem which will be implemented in the near future.
