Large shallow crater - possible sink hole forming

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8797463.

I did report this in early January but it has been listed as 'closed' but there was no report to say whether it has been inspected or whether it was just not found. I have managed to get a much more accurate position for it: 51°15'59.99"N 1° 0'26.32"W - which is different from my original estimate of its location. It is a large shallow circular crater with the diameter of a car. It is centred on the hard shoulder but encroaches into the slow lane. It is in an area where the road is higher than the land beside it - so it is more likely that soil could've been washed away beneath it. In your reply, could you please confirm that the crater has been positively identified and evaluated as safe. Thank you.
