Abandoned cones

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8781118.

Cones and concrete barriers left on southbound carrigeway leaving 1 lane closed. Works completed over 6 months ago, when are they going to removed and the lane reopened?

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment. We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use. Some isolated cones may also be in place for a specific purpose that may not be clear to passing vehicles. Kind regards National Highways
