Previously Reported Pothole Still there, and getting more dangerous!

Large area of pothole/broken up road. Primarily on inside lane just before the slip road joins the motorway after junction 19 in westbound direction at around 9:45pm on 22/01/26. The pothole/poor surface may also extend into lane two as per previous report.

I hit this same pothole last month and expected it to be repaired by now as it was so bad. I did not envisage it would still be there on 22/01/26. It was too late for me to avoid as was dark at time of travel. It would have also required a considerable swerve to avoid if I had seen it.

This pothole/surface degradation caused considerable car movement and had the potential of damaging suspension. It was also bad enough to cause the steering wheel react and require a firmer grip to ensure control was maintained. My speed at the time was only 58mph and the impact was still violent.

I am appalled that this pothole is still there as there is already a report as of Wed 5 November 2025 with a reply on Mon 10 November 2025 saying your repair teams would look into it.

It has not being dealt with.

This pothole was bad enough for me to check my suspension for damage at the end of my journey but I was unable to confirm if damage of any kind was sustained. I wish this to be logged in the event I have some form of failure in the near future.

This repair needs to be seen to as a priority.
