Flags on lamposts

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8753408.

At least 9 flags have been placed on illegally lamposts, some are stuck in trees in the high winds and bad weather these are clearly adding stress to the lamposts,also they are distraction to motorists. Those putting them up are placing others at risk

    We have passed this to one of our local inspectors to confirm that this is on our property. Safety is our priority and we do all we can to protect those who use our roads. Items such as flags attached to a bridge could pose a danger to motorists on the road below and so may need to be removed for safety reasons.
