Dangerous conditions for pedestrians

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 10:55, Thursday 22 January 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8741879.

The pavement here is regularly being used as a parking spot for HGV’s unlawfully - this is churning up the verge, covering the pavement in slippery mud, and also creating an obstruction to pedestrians meaning the are having to use the actual slip road to pass the vehicles. In my opinion there really needs to be a continuation of the road barrier along the length of the footpath.
