West bound slip road not fit for purpose

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 21:05, Tuesday 20 January 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8731501.

Can’t find a way to report it under the correct category but the west bound slip road is not fit for purpose. Today at approx 0905 the traffic was queuing in the main inside lane of the carriageway because it was so busy. The slip road needs to be longer or 2 lanes. It’s dangerous as vehicles were using the hard shoulder and gravel area to pull off the main road and if they didn’t they were half on the inside lane and half on the hard shoulder. It’s the westbound slip road for chiverton cross. The traffic approaching the roundabout from the st Agnes exit need to be slowed down or light controlled as traffic is just backing up.
