Elongated trench has now opened up in the centre of the road. This is so damaged it is causing vehicles to steer in a reckless fashion to avoid it. Vehicles are causing debris to be projected at speed and ferocity towards pedestrians on the footpath, a considerable danger for babies and children in pushchairs. Houses opposite are being damaged by stones shot at speed at windows and doors. Cracks are appearing in walls due to the constant explosive banging of lorries into this trench shuddering our houses and damaging our properties. Not to mention the sleep deprivation, constant worry that the road is turning into one great sinkhole.
