Gaps between concrete dangerous for motorcyclists

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 10:46, Friday 16 January 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8700468.

There are several sections of the M25 where gaps between concrete sections run along the direction of travel. The sealant between the gaps is missing in several areas and causing deep grooves in the road surface, These meander across the lanes and are very dangerous for motorcycles to cross and causes them to weave across lanes to avoid the grooves. Perhaps the persons responsible for maintaining the road surface would like to ride pillion so that they can experience the feeling of being pulled into the grooves and wobbling out of them? Hopefully this may accelerate the maintenance... File picture illustrates the type of grooves in question.
