Large dangerous pothole on A428 – Cambridgeshire - near the Scotland road bridge

There is a large, deep pothole on the A428 in Cambridgeshire (near the Scotland road bridge that goes over it) in the left hand lane. The defect is difficult to avoid at normal traffic speeds and presents a serious hazard to vehicles. My vehicle struck the pothole today, causing damage to the front suspension and wheel, with immediate clunking and grinding noises. The pothole appears deep enough to cause loss of control or further vehicle damage and requires urgent inspection and repair.
