Potholes on southbound M3 Junction 5 - Hook

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 13:20, Thursday 15 January 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8694057.

There are potholes in lane 1 and 2 of the southwest bound main carriageway at M3 J 5 near to the start of the slipway to J5 and Hook

There have been repairs in the past but these have deteriorated to the point they are causing issues when driving, especially in the dark and bad weather when they cant be seen. They will either cause tyre, wheel or suspension damage if not fixed immediately.

Note: FixMyStreet labels the M3 as the Guildford to Portsmouth Motorway !!! That is the A3 not the M3 which is London to Southampton
