Road surface has trench now. We don’t want trucks cars crashing into houses ir the public on the pavement.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8692261.

Pot hole which was repaired is forming a trench around 50mm deep. It’s a 30 limit but we live here it’s more like 50mph so bad road is going to cause an accident.

    We can confirm that we have organised for 2 thermal road repairs to be carried out at this location. These will be completed in 2 jobs to minimise the disruption to the route. The first will be carried out this coming weekend outside 17 Manchester road, and the second which is for the area outside 35 Manchester Road will be within the next 28 days.

    We are hopeful that following last years patching repairs, the above will resolve the issues at this location. We will continue to monitor the area following these repairs.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
