Two large potholes
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8682839.
Two large pot holes- I went through as it was speed of 60- I don’t think I was even going fully on 50, but my car tyre had popped on the way back from work, luckily I was able to get home and didn’t crash, but my tire was fully flat at this point. Going past this, there were cars with the emergency lights on, on the hard shoulder, this was a shock to me as it caused quite a big impact with around 6 cars on hard shoulder and more as I went by past this.
It cost me £70 for a new tire, due to the potholes in the road, this is quite often the problem going through a38 from Lichfield as I have drove past a lot of potholes.
Especially at night or when it is dark, those are not entirely visible and it’s a danger to other cars.
I am now scared to drive past again.
