Two potholes becoming deep

There are two potholes each near a lay-by on the northbound stretch of A1 around the Blagdon/Stannington area. These are becoming deep and cars are swerving to avoid. Both need urgent attention

  • Thank you for your report of potholes in this location.

    We can confirm that we've sent inspectors to assess these with a view for a permanent fix. We did carry out a temporary fill on 12 January, however with the current weather this may not withstand so assessments will be made to make them safe.
