Unsafe crossing for elderly and disabled individuals

Reported via mobile in the Crossings that may impact people with a disability (NH) category anonymously at 22:16, Thursday 8 January 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8651155.

This crossing has no slow signage, no zeber crossing and no lights. It is an extremely dangerous part of the road that is signeposted at 40mph but most cars do not slow. We request some traffic lights, so as to make the crossing safe for all pedestrians, especially those who are disabled and elderly. This crossing is heavily used to get to the bus stop on the other side of the road.
