Pothole on M6 southbound - between lanes 2 and 3 between slip roads on Jct 16

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8619157.

A wide and relatively deep pothole appears to have formed between lanes 2 and 3 on the M6 Southbound- the location is between the off and on slip roads for junction 16. I was unable to avoid the pothole when overtaking and it led to a significant ‘jolt’ to the suspension of the vehicle. This was present on 02/01/2026 but I am not sure how long it has been present.
