M6 between J1 and J2 is a total state

The cleanliness of M6 between J1 and J2 is appalling. There is litter / debris and broken car parts / discarded TM for the whole section. It looks like a rubbish tip. How are national highways allowing their contractors to let the network down like this?

    We have passed this to one of our local inspectors to confirm that this is on our property. Safety is our priority and we do all we can to protect those who use our roads. Items such as flags attached to a bridge could pose a danger to motorists on the road below and so may need to be removed for safety reasons.
