Significant loss of road surface resulting potholes forming in lane 2.

  • Number of very large potholes in lane 2 between J2 & J3 eastbound M180 causing vehicles to swerve to avoid .... accident waiting to happen... reported several days ago but still not fixed !!!

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways to report potholes on M180. Our Inspectors have attended this location and are aware of the surfacing issues.

    Repairs have been scheduled to take place in January. We can also advise you that our Inspectors carry out daily patrols and report any safety concerns which may need urgent attention.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
