Fallen tree and broken fencing

Embankment has fallen tree blocking Bridleway, fencing broken as a result, allowing access to the motorway where the acoustic fencing has not been replaced allowing easy access to the carriage way. Tree has fallen as a result of lack of maintenance

    We asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue. They confirmed there is a tree blocking the bridal way and fence damage. A job has been raised to have the tree cut and removed along with ski netting to be put up on the broken fence.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
