Loose manhole cover which has been repaired in the past but is a recurring problem as not repaired correctly

Reported via mobile in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 23:34, Tue 16 December 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8557265.

Dear highway authority I would like to report a problem outside : 263 Yarmouth road Lowestoft Suffolk nr32 4aa. Manhole cover that is is loose and surrounding tarmac is moving under vibration as traffic passes by making a very dangerous condition and posing serious danger to cars, passing pedestrians and cyclists, loud banging noises which is keeping our family from sleeping and concentrating on daily activities .

This issue appears to be worsening and requires urgent inspection and repair to prevent accidents or vehicle damage.

Please confirm when this will be addressed.

Kind regards, R Hambly
