Need for Road Markings

Yellow box markings across junction of A26 to A27 would be beneficial to stop people blocking the junction during peak traffic hours.

  • Thank you for your report and suggestion of a yellow box junction to prevent inconsiderate driver behaviour on the roundabout.

    The location is on our radar, mostly due to the congestion caused by the 2 lanes dropping to 1 going eastbound, but from a safety stance, with no serious or fatal injury collisions in the past 2 years, the location is not currently on our network needs list for safety improvements.

    Your suggestion welcomed however and has been shared with our safety team for consideration in any future schemes should funding become available.
