Flooding of road
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8521174.
The road is flooded and major accident . Delay so fat in excess of one and a half hours . I have used this road for many years and have consistently reported flooding on this road . Nothing has been done . I am on the way to an airport in a taxi and if I miss my flight will be seeking compensation and payment for the airport mound booked . Accept this as notice of intended legal action . Acknowledge receipt by return . Thank you Chris Johnson

Rolling roadblock put in place at 9.-17am!!!

Ring twice now for update . No update no mention of accident and no update as to when the motorway will reopen . No mention of any services dealing with the flooding and barrier repair ,

No junctions closed off traffic still be allowed to join the motorway ! Shambolic !

If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.
Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
