Old metal A frame

Reported via mobile in the Abandoned Materials (NH) category anonymously at 20:17, Sun 7 December 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8514036.

More corporate flytipping by YOU and your lazy, good for nothing traffic management contractors. A large metal A frame left on the verge for over two years (as shown on google maps). Just one of the thousands of examples of flytipping by you throughout the road network. Old frames, signs, cones, sand bags and other paraphernalia is left dumped everywhere. Every main road, junction, slip road, roundabout sections etc has evidence of this corporate flytipping. Absolutely disgraceful.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment. We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use. Some isolated cones may also be in place for a specific purpose that may not be clear to passing vehicles. Kind regards National Highways
