Previously repaired road collapsing again

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category by Martyn Stubbs at 19:06, Thu 4 December 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8503302.

The road surface although recently repaired is already starting to collapse again which is again causing much disruption to local residents as this when hit by heavy vehicles causes the buildings to shake quite badly. I’ve reported this issue 3 times now and yet the same attempt to repair is carried out for it to fail within weeks. The patch of tarmac is on the pedestrian crossing on the A46 heading towards pamington village. Not only is this causing bad vibrations it’s also making a lot of noise. This surely not only affects the houses in Ashchurch but the care home will I’m sure be badly affected by this. I feel that the issue is deeper than the road surface. Possibly a drain as this keeps getting worse.
