Every Drain Blocked with debris

Every drain on this section of motorway has a huge pile of leaves and rubbish preventing surface water from draining away. It has been like this for months. Carriageway floods at all points when there is rain.

    We carry out regular inspections in this area and if any work is needed, we arrange for this to happen. We can also advise that we are due to carry out cyclical activities in the area reported early next year.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
