Subsiding walkway

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category by George Ardrey at 17:25, Friday 28 November 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8477811.

Narrow (0.6metre) walkway on the A36 beside busy, fast moving traffic is continuing to subsde increasing the trip hazard. With a 2metre drop on the side away from the road this is dangerous for both young and elderly to negotiate. The walkway has been patched over the past years, but needs leveling and widening for safety.
