Drain been blocked for weeks. Massive puddle reported numerous times

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 11:58, Friday 28 November 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8476348.

Massive puddle on exit from cranstons food hall/ullswater Road Garage forecourt. Blocking footpath. Cars using forecourt as exit route which is not safe when forecourt is busy. I reported this on Monday. Had a response but it would appear nobody had been to access the problem. The puddle was frozen round the edges yesterday morning.. so another hazard to the road users. It has rained all morning this morning so as a result the puddle is increasing in size again. There is a drain at the bottom of the footpath which has obviously become blocked! A member of my staff was almost hit by a car while he was working out on the forecourt despite having high visibility clothing on as road users are using the forecourt as an exit road rather than going through the massive puddle.
