On 26th November I was driving to work at 6.30am, the weather was bad so I was going slow as I passed the entrance to waseley hills park , my car hit black ice , I completely lost control spun across the road in a circle ending up back on the left facing the opposite direction. My car only stopped when I hit the crash barrier. It is a complete write off. Thankfully there were no other cars at that moment. I called the police to report it and they arrived quickly. It was getting light by then. I witnessed 2 other incidents 1 was a car hitting the police car because he slid on ice, police had to put cones out round my car untill it was moved and direct the traffic, so many cars were sliding on the road conditions were that bad, police asked me if the road had been gritted it obviously hadn't and they called the highways department as they said this should never of happened and the road should be gritted. The crash barrier hasn't been damaged at all but my car is beyond repair. I would appreciate it if some one could get back to me on this matter
