M6 junction 20 - junction 26 North and Southbound

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category by roland hill at 13:01, Fri 21 November 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8448608.

On the central reservation gulleys of the M6 J20 - J26 North and Southbound there is lots of debris and grids blocked causing rainwater not to drain away sufficiently. This is then causing the water to cascade onto the carriageways.

If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
