Bridge railings

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8438913.

The bridge railings appear to be very low. Please can these be replaced to improve pedestrian safety and to prevent suicide attempts. Please can you tell me if there any planned improvement works to this bridge? Hucclecote Parish Council

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways concerning Lobleys Drive overbridge.

    A scheme for the refurbishment of the structure is currently programmed for 2031/2032. The refurbishment scheme will include the replacement of the parapets and refurbishment of the bridge deck.

    All of our schemes are undertaken according to priority so this could be subject to change.
