Safety Issue

Traffic congestion every evening rush hour. Queuing traffic back onto the motorway is causing safety issues. I have witnessed the aftermath of multiple accidents this week, luckily minor, due to the stationary traffic on the motorway. The traffic lights at the top of the slip road are not letting enough traffic through to release the traffic, once through these traffic lights there is no onward congestion, suggesting more could be released at each cycle of the light system.

25th November. This problem is ongoing. It's only a matter of time before someone is killed at this junction unless the capacity issue is fixed. Exiting the M5 at JCT 14 northbound traffic is queuing onto the slip road. Traffic turning left towards Falfied is being held too long by the lights with very little traffic. I've been using this junction for 25+ years and have never known it to be like this.

This junction is very dangerous at present due to the amount of traffic going this route rather than the a38 due to roadworks. Twice in 2 weeks I have witnessed 2 near misses of crashes
