Missing cats eyes

Reported via mobile in the Cat Eyes/ Reflectors (NH) category anonymously at 16:09, Tue 11 November 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8405333.

On my journey to work on the M61 junction 5-9 there are sections where the cats eyes are missing completely. In the dark and in bad weather, you can't differentiate the lanes at all, you have to follow the brake lights of the car in front. As soon as I get onto the M65 at junction 9 of the M61 the difference is immediately apparent, as the cats eyes are very good on the M65. It has been like this for years, although it has improved slightly due to sections of resurfacing where the cats eyes have been replaced.
